On Tuesday, October 28th, this impressive excursion train was found on the grounds of the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. It was being prepared for two round trips to Charlottesville, VA, on Saturday and Sunday, November 1st and 2nd, 2008. Here are a few short clips from the Hickory (NC) Model Train Show, September 13, 2008, at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. The show was well-attended and lots of new and antique merchandise was on display. The first three clips are on a large modular N Scale layout set up by the Central Carolina NScalers, http://ccnscalers.com/, and the other two are from a large HO layout in a similar format (sorry, was too distracted to get the club name!).
